A small independent bed and breakfast on Castleton Road in Hathersage, in the Hope Valley on the northern side of the Peak District. It has seven en-suite rooms, each fitted with a super-king bed that converts to twins, a rain shower and tea and coffee facilities; one of the rooms can be set up as a family room for children aged fourteen and under. The look is fresh and contemporary rather than period, which suits the walkers and climbers who use Hathersage as a base for Stanage Edge and the surrounding gritstone edges. Breakfast is served to guests each morning. It is run as a single guest house rather than part of a hotel chain or group, offering a quiet, low-key place to stay a short distance from the village centre and its shops and pubs.
