The Broad Chare occupies a narrow lane just off Newcastle's Quayside, serving cask ales alongside a menu built around British classics such as potted meats, pies and Craster kippers. Opened in 2011 through a partnership between chef Terry Laybourne's 21 Hospitality and Live Theatre, the pub has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand every year since opening, with an upstairs dining room for lunch and dinner service.
