The DwellingHouse

The Dwelling House occupies a Georgian former merchant's house on Fore Street, with parts of the building dating to the 16th century, and is run day to day by owner Theresa. The tea room bakes its cakes, scones and pastries on site each morning in an open kitchen fitted with a Rayburn oven, offers around 25 varieties of tea, and has a small courtyard garden behind the kitchen. A single room is also let as bed and breakfast accommodation.
