The Old Courthouse occupies one of Greyabbey's oldest buildings, on the Square at the centre of a village known for its concentration of antique dealers. Proprietor Alison Miley, an artist with a background in interior design, sources French furniture, silverware, textiles and antique giftware for the shop, alongside a sister operation, the Collectable Quilt Company, run from the same premises and specialising in antique and vintage patchwork quilts and linens. Stock ranges from decorative pieces such as cushions and fine art to fishing memorabilia and other collectables, changing regularly as Miley sources new material. The shop trades as an independent single-site business rather than part of a wider antiques chain, distinct from the handful of other dealers occupying Greyabbey's Main Street shopfronts. It opens Wednesday to Saturday and sells both in person and through an online shop. The building's age and position on the Square give it a different footprint from the terraced shop units housing most of the village's other antique traders.
