Ullapool Outdoors

Ullapool Outdoors has traded from West Argyle Street in Ullapool since the company was incorporated in 2004, and describes itself as the only dedicated outdoor clothing and equipment shop north of Inverness. The shop stocks technical clothing and gear from brands including Rab, Patagonia, Berghaus and Paramo, serving hillwalkers, cyclists and anglers travelling the North Coast 500 as well as local residents heading into the surrounding hills. It operates as a single independent shop rather than a branch of a national outdoor retailer, filling a gap left by the nearest equivalent stores in Inverness, over fifty miles to the south. The shop opens six days a week throughout the year, adjusting its range seasonally between hillwalking, camping and winter equipment.
