Ullswater Outdoor Adventures is a small, family-run operator based in Glenridding offering instructor-led kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, ghyll scrambling and mountain walking on and around Ullswater. Run by Stu and Lou, the business is licensed under the Adventure Activities Licensing Scheme, and all sessions are led throughout by qualified instructors rather than through equipment hire alone, ranging from half-day tasters to multi-day expeditions, including trips further afield on the River Eden and in Scotland. Navigation and leadership courses are also offered for people working toward outdoor qualifications.
