Wanstead Fish

A fishmonger on Wanstead High Street, opened in 2015 by a local resident who could not find fresh seafood nearby. Ownership passed to two colleagues with a combined 50 years in the seafood trade in 2024. Alongside retail counter sales to local households, the business supplies whole fish and shellfish wholesale to restaurants and hotels across the south east.
