The single shop supplies local beef, pork, lamb and poultry sourced from farms in the surrounding countryside, alongside a deli and kitchen counter producing cooked meats, pies and prepared meals for collection. Baird's has remained on Canal Street throughout its history, building a reputation for traditional butchery skills such as dry-ageing and hand-tying joints rather than opening further branches. The shop also takes online orders through a partnership with a Northern Ireland food delivery platform, but all meat is prepared and sold from the one Newry premises, confirming it as a single-site, family-run business.
