Working Sheepdogs operates from Leault Farm at Kincraig, where Neil Ross has run sheepdog demonstrations for visitors for several decades alongside the family's hill-sheep farming. Up to eight collies work sheep and ducks through a course of gates and pens during a 45-minute session, each dog responding to its own whistle command, while Ross explains the training and breeding behind working sheepdogs. Demonstrations run daily at 4pm, except Saturdays, from June to October, with pre-arranged visits possible at other times of year. Visitors can also meet the farm's collie pups and bottle-feed orphan lambs in spring, and have a go at hand-shearing a sheep. The business recently rebranded from Leault Working Sheepdogs to Working Sheepdogs but remains the same family operation at the same farm, seven miles from Aviemore. It is independently run and funded through visitor admission, with no council or trust involvement.
