&Gallery has traded from a ground-floor space on Dundas Street since 2017, part of the concentration of commercial galleries running the length of the street through Edinburgh's New Town. The programme centres on abstract and minimal painting, drawing and sculpture, showing artists based in Scotland alongside others from further afield in the UK and beyond. Exhibitions change on a regular cycle, with each show typically running for several weeks and accompanied by a printed handout or catalogue. The gallery is open to visitors without charge Tuesday to Saturday, with additional viewings available by appointment outside those hours. Unlike some Dundas Street neighbours built around Scottish Colourist and traditional landscape work, &Gallery's focus stays deliberately contemporary, giving it a distinct position within the street's gallery cluster.
