Surveyed
A butcher's counter that has passed through six generations of one family — the line runs from John Thomas Barrow, born 1856, to Richard Barrow today, with his son Sam and nephew Harvey beside him — still cutting on Henshall Road with the trade's old rhythm. The food-safety inspectors marked every category very good at the June 2025 inspection, and the shop supplies kitchens around the valley besides the retail counter. In a village that lost its brewery tap this January, the seventh generation is already in the room, which is the most reassuring fact in Bollington.
