Billy Lutton has worked as a calligrapher from his Beanstown Road studio since establishing the business in 1987, producing wedding certificates, awards and memorial books using dipped quills and steel nibs rather than modern pens. In 2000 he was appointed Herald Painter to the National Library of Ireland, designing coats of arms for families able to prove Irish ancestry. Commissions are made to order rather than sold as stock pieces.
