Greens Food Fare trades from 23-25 Bow Street in Lisburn, on a site with a grocery business recorded there since 1886, when it opened as Robert McCartney's family grocer. It became JT Green & Sons in 1923, giving the shop its current name, was run by the Black family from 1970, and has traded under new ownership led by managing director Kenny Bradley since 2017. The shop combines a grocery, deli counter, hot food bar and coffee station under one roof in the same Bow Street premises, following a refurbishment of the store layout. It remains a single shop on Bow Street rather than a chain, despite absorbing neighbouring units, including a former butcher's, as it expanded over the decades. It opens Monday to Saturday, closing on Sundays.
