Alan and Sharon Foster reopened O'Reilly's in Dromara in May 2024, having previously run Tedfords in Belfast city centre for twenty-two years. The building is believed to have served as a coach house on the old coaching route between Carrickfergus and Dublin, and local lore holds that the actor Errol Flynn once called in. The Fosters kept the bar's layout largely intact while refreshing the dining room and introducing a menu built around a two-course set option alongside steaks and pub classics. It trades as a village bar and restaurant rather than a brewery-tied pub, pouring a changing range of draught and bottled beer alongside its food service. Open Thursday and Friday from 5pm, Saturday from 12.30pm, and Sunday from 12.30pm to 7pm, closed Monday to Wednesday. The pub sits at 7-9 Rathfriland Road in the centre of Dromara village.
