Bones Espresso

Bones Espresso occupies 28 York Street in Twickenham, a short walk from the Thames, where director Derrick de Jong has run the shop since incorporating the business in September 2021. The independently owned café works with local suppliers for its food offer, curating a rotating range of sweet and savoury snacks alongside vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Coffee is served in a dog-friendly seating area, with customers able to sit in or take drinks along the riverside paths nearby. The shop opens from 8.30am to 4pm on most days, a shorter finish than many high street chains keep, giving it a distinct early-closing rhythm suited to a riverside crowd of dog walkers, rowers and local workers passing through York Street.
