Books Llangollen is a long-established second-hand bookshop occupying the first floor of 17 Castle Street, above S&G Bistro, in the centre of Llangollen. With a stock reported at more than 100,000 titles, it is among the largest used-book shops in Wales, spread across a series of rooms in a building that once housed the town's Dorothea cinema. Shelves cover general fiction, local and Welsh interest, history, children's books and a wide spread of non-fiction, with older and collectable volumes among the browsing. It is an independent, family-run business rather than a charity or chain outlet, and rewards unhurried browsing over quick searches.
