Hayley Farrelly converted a log cabin in her garden at Ballinger into a pottery studio in 2019, not long after buying her first kiln and wheel, and now runs Bramley Pottery as a working business rather than the hobby it started as. She teaches wheel-throwing and hand-building in small group sessions and one-to-one private lessons, some held at Great Missenden Memorial Hall rather than the home studio, and specialises in celadon glazes on her own finished pieces. Workshops run on scheduled dates, mostly at weekends, and places are booked through her website rather than taken on a drop-in basis. Finished pieces from private lessons are collected from the Ballinger studio once fired, adding a second visit to the usual one-off workshop format.
