Brentingby Gin

Brentingby Gin is a small distillery on the edge of the village of Brentingby, just outside Melton Mowbray, where South African founder Bruce Midgley began distilling in 2018. The gin is made and bottled on site in a set of converted rural buildings, with a flagship London Dry joined by a darker Black Edition and other releases. Visitors can book distillery tours that cover the botanicals and the still before a guided tasting. The business is independent and single-site, selling bottles direct and through regional stockists, bars and restaurants. It sits within Melton Mowbray's wider food-and-drink country, but keeps its focus on distilling rather than running a large bar or restaurant, so a visit centres on the still room and the range produced there.
