Bristol Packet Boat Trips has run from Bristol's Floating Harbour since 1974, operated across two generations by the same family and now based at Wapping Wharf on Gas Ferry Road. The company runs six boats, including the Tower Belle and Redshank, offering a forty-five-minute City Dock Tour, a longer cruise upstream to Hanham Mills with a pub lunch stop, and a Cream Tea Cruise, alongside private hire for groups and educational trips for schools. Boats carry a licensed bar and onboard PA system, with catering arranged in advance. Around fifteen landing stages around the harbour serve private charters, though public trips depart from the main Wapping Wharf office. It remains an independent, single-company operator rather than part of a national tour operator group.
