Cafephilia

Cafephilia opened on Alcester Road in Moseley Village in June 2013 and has traded from the same corner site since. The coffee shop pours beans from speciality roaster Has Bean and serves a daytime menu of sandwiches, paninis, wraps and homemade cakes, with a jerk chicken panini on focaccia a regular order. The interior takes cues from Italian cafe design, with framed photographs and paintings on the walls and seating both indoors and on the pavement. The cafe has hosted community sessions, including a Women's Enterprise Cafe for local small businesses. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets are catered for, with several milk alternatives available for coffee. Sunday hours extend later than the rest of the week, to 6pm, giving Moseley village an evening option once the shops close.
