Chandos Deli has traded from the same shopfront on Henleaze Road since the late 1990s, registered as Chandos Delicatessen Limited and selling cured meats, farmhouse cheeses, fresh breads and olives from a single counter rather than a warehouse operation. The stock leans toward foods customers can taste before buying: staff cut cheese to order and will talk through a cheeseboard for a dinner party rather than simply ringing it up. It sits within Henleaze's short parade of independent shops on the same road, a walk from the garden centre at the other end. The deli also lists surplus stock through Too Good To Go at the end of trading rather than binning it.
