Forty acres of south-facing vines above the Cinque Port of Winchelsea, one mile from the sea. The family took on Wickham Manor farm in 1998 and planted the first Pinot Noir and Chardonnay by hand in 2006; some of the lowest vines sit a metre above sea level. Eight plantations, 70 breeding ewes, a team of six. The cellar door pours wine flights at £15 a head, picnic hampers £14.
