Clerkenwell Screws is a small independent ironmonger on Clerkenwell Road, recorded trading from the same shopfront since at least 1951 and incorporated as a limited company in 1959. The counter stocks around 12,000 types of screws, nuts, bolts and fixings sold individually rather than in sealed multipacks, with long-serving staff advising on fittings for the area's older buildings.
