Derby Riverboat runs 45-minute cruises from a boarding point opposite the Silk Mill, sailing north to Darley Abbey and back with audio commentary on local history and wildlife. Operated by the Derby and Sandiacre Canal Trust between May and October, the boat carries up to twelve passengers and serves hot drinks and light refreshments on board.
