Derry DesignerMakers

Derry Designer Makers is a maker-run shop at 16 Shipquay Street, inside Derry's Craft Village, selling jewellery, fused glass, woodwork, textiles and photography made by designers from Derry and the North West. Run as a non-funded, non-profit collective for more than thirteen years, the shop rotates its roster of makers through the year and takes on commissions and corporate gift orders alongside everyday retail sales. Each maker prices and restocks their own section, so the shelves change according to what individual makers are producing that season. Payment and enquiries go through the shop's own online store rather than a head office, keeping the operation entirely self-run by its member makers.
