David Keys opened FINE on Main Street in Moira in 2018, trading as The Fine Coffee Co. Limited. The counter treats coffee as an artisan foodstuff rather than a quick pick-me-up, sourcing specialist blends and rotating a seasonal menu of savoury and sweet food. Aside from bread, everything served is made on site, from marshmallows and sausage rolls to brownies and traybakes. The kitchen freezes surplus soft fruit for later use and spreads spent coffee grounds on the flower beds outside rather than throwing them away. FINE positions itself as an all-day alternative to the pub or bar, serving breakfast through to early evening. It occupies a shopfront at 70 Main Street in Moira village centre. Open Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, and Sunday, 9am to 4.30pm.
