Sean and Geraldine McLaughlin took over this nineteenth-century inn on Ballintoy's Main Street in 2016 and refurbished the bedrooms and dining space while keeping the building's period character. Rooms are en-suite, with dog-friendly options available, and the kitchen serves traditional Irish dishes to guests and to walkers heading for Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge nearby. The building is also known locally for one of only ten surviving doors carved for the Game of Thrones Doors trail, mounted inside the bar. Bookings run through the inn's own reservation system. The McLaughlins operate both the guesthouse and restaurant sides of the business themselves, on a stretch of coast road between Ballycastle and the Giant's Causeway.
