Broughgammon is the Cole family's farm on the road between Ballycastle and Bushmills, started in 2011 by Charlie and Becky Cole around an idea most farms ignore: that the male kid goats the dairy industry discards could be raised for meat. Cabrito is still the heart of it, alongside rose veal, free-range pork and their own lamb, all butchered on the farm. Charlie's parents, Robin and Millie, are part of it too. The farm shop and café open at the weekend, there is an on-site butchery, and the supper clubs draw people out from the towns. An Économusée farm that turned an ethical objection into a business.
