Harlow Museum & Walled Gardens sits on Muskham Road, open free on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9:30am to 3:30pm. Galleries run from the Iron Age to the present: finds from the Roman temple site at Stangrove Hill, the growth of the New Town after WWII, the five old parishes, and the John Collins collection of over 40 cycles. Over 40,000 artefacts, mostly public donations. Three historical gardens cover two acres. Roof restoration is underway.
