Ingrid's Zero Waste Shop sells refillable household and food items from a small premises on Vaughan Street in Llandudno, one of the first shops of its kind on the North Wales coast. Owners Brian and Linda Merritt left corporate careers to open the shop, naming it after Linda's mother Ingrid, who helped fund the venture without at first realising it carried her name. Customers bring their own containers to fill with grains, pulses, cleaning liquids and toiletries, reducing single-use plastic packaging. The shop also stocks locally made soaps and beeswax wraps. It trades from this one Llandudno unit only, with no other locations.
