Kepplestone Farm Shop in Bucksburn began as an honesty box beside the farmhouse, selling eggs and vegetables to neighbours. Roughly a century later it has grown into a working farm shop stocking homegrown produce, fresh eggs, and baked goods from local suppliers, with an on-site cafe called The Coo Hut serving coffee and home bakes. The shop keeps a short week, opening Thursday to Sunday, and draws custom from Aberdeen's northern suburbs as well as passing trade on the Bucksburn road. Staff take orders and stock enquiries directly by email rather than through a call centre.
