Llangollen Museum on Parade Street is an independent, volunteer-run charity covering the town and the surrounding Dee valley. Two floors of displays, a research section, a children's area and a small shop, with more than 10,000 items in the collection and hundreds shown at any time, rotated through the year. Entry is free. A small team helps with family and property research. National Lottery Heritage Fund money paid for a new roof and an online 3D archive.
