Longridge Gallery has traded from 78 Berry Lane since 1985, combining a fine art gallery with an on-site picture-framing workshop. The single-site gallery represents around 200 artists, showing original paintings, signed limited-edition prints, canvases and limited-edition bronze and porcelain sculpture from names including Doug Hyde, Sherree Valentine Daines and Kerry Darlington. Framing is carried out in-house, covering everything from prints and photographs to stretched needlework, tapestries and sports memorabilia, alongside the gallery's own stock. Four decades after opening, it remains independently run from the same Berry Lane premises in the centre of Longridge rather than operating as part of a wider chain of galleries, giving the small Ribble Valley town a permanent outlet for collectable art.
