Needful Things occupies two floors just off Church Square in old Hartlepool, close to the art gallery and a short walk from the railway station. Books make up roughly half the stock, with a strong military history section, alongside vintage clothing, secondhand vinyl, CDs and general bric-a-brac collected by the owner-bookseller.
