Portsoy Gallery occupies an 18th-century Grade B listed building on Low Street, within the conservation area around Portsoy's harbour. It was founded by Glynn and Yana, who spent more than 40 years photographing fine art for national and international auction houses before opening a gallery of their own. The rooms show a changing programme of contemporary painters and applied artists, mixing established names with newer talent, and stock is rotated through the year rather than fixed as a permanent collection. The building includes free parking outside, wheelchair access and an audio loop system for visitors. Portsoy Gallery trades from this single Low Street address, distinct from other galleries operating under similar names elsewhere in Scotland.
