Ragleth Gallery

Ragleth Gallery opened on Sandford Place in Church Stretton in July 2018, established by Michael White and Sue Pugh after the couple moved to the town in 2016. The gallery shows paintings, sculpture, prints, ceramics, glass, jewellery and photography, drawing chiefly on artists working within the Shropshire Hills and the wider Marches, with subject matter often taking its cue from the surrounding landscape and wildlife. Work is changed regularly rather than held as a fixed permanent display, and browsing is unticketed. The gallery sits close to the crossroads at the centre of town, reached by a short flight of steps up from street level. It closes one day a week, on Wednesdays, and otherwise keeps daytime hours across the rest of the week including Sunday afternoons.
