Revolver Records

Revolver Records is a pre-owned vinyl specialist on Southchurch Road in Southend-on-Sea, run by Martin and his wife. The shop opened in Westcliff-on-Sea in 2019 before moving to its current Southchurch Road premises in September 2020. Racks cover rock, reggae, dance, jazz and heavy metal pressed between the 1950s and 2000s, alongside rarer and collectible 12-inch and 7-inch releases, with stock turning over through daily buying, part-exchange and trading with customers bringing in their own collections. The shop trades seven days a week, with shorter hours on Wednesday and Thursday, and also sells online through Discogs for buyers further afield. It occupies a small parade of shops near the Southchurch Road and Woodgrange Drive junction, within walking distance of Southend seafront and the town's other independent record and music shops.
