Olivia and Georgina Holben Lumsden run Riversdale House, a three-bedroom bed and breakfast in a restored Victorian townhouse on Abbey Road, opposite Llangollen railway station and close to the field that hosts the town's International Musical Eisteddfod. Two of the three rooms have bay windows overlooking the River Dee, while the smallest room keeps a quieter, more compact character. The house belongs to the Rarebits Collection of small independent places to stay and won a North Wales Tourism Award in 2023. Guests are within walking distance of the town's independent shops, cafes and riverside pubs, and the two hosts are noted for offering local recommendations and an attentive welcome.
