Rosehill Arts & Crafts runs from a converted space on School Lane in Llanfairtalhaiarn, a village a few miles south of Abergele. It is owned by Gillian Rigby, who previously ran a stained and fused glass studio in Lytham St Annes for eight years before relocating to North Wales, and Grainne Lennox, a retired art teacher who specialises in papier-mâché sculpture. Between them they teach courses in stained glass, fused glass, mixed media, textiles and 3D papier-mâché, ranging from half-day taster sessions to four-week programmes aimed at complete beginners as well as more experienced crafters. Small class sizes allow one-to-one guidance through techniques such as copper foiling and kiln forming. Courses run on a scheduled booking basis rather than fixed daily opening hours, so intending students are directed to check the course calendar or call ahead on 07557 521426.
