Sugar Loaf Deli & Bakery occupies a unit at Milford Waterfront, on the dockside of Milford Marina in Milford Haven. It opened in November 2020, set up by Shayne, who also runs the neighbouring restaurant Foam, initially to sell bread and provisions during the coronavirus lockdowns. Bread, pastries and cakes are baked overnight on site so they are fresh each morning, alongside sandwiches, paninis, salads, soup and a range of doughnuts. The deli counter sells jams, chutneys, cheeses and grazing platters, and the bakery takes orders for bespoke cakes and gift hampers. It supplies bread to other local hospitality businesses, including nearby holiday accommodation, in addition to its retail trade. Open six days a week, it has become one of the fixed food stops on the waterfront redevelopment, alongside the independent cafés and restaurants that have opened along the same stretch since 2020.
