The Cottage Inn occupies a row of converted stone cottages in Dunstan, a small hamlet a short walk from the coastal path between Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle. It has ten bedrooms, a bar serving cask ales from regional breweries, and a restaurant built around locally sourced dishes, with a garden used for outdoor seating in warmer months. The inn passed to new owners in recent years but continues to trade as a single, independently run business rather than as part of a hotel group.
