Village pub on Old Raglan Road on the edge of Abergavenny, run since 2005 by chef-patron Stephen Terry, who was named Independent Restaurateur of the Year in 2012. Behind the low-key pub frontage the kitchen serves seasonal, ingredient-led menus built around Welsh meat and vegetables, with a bar still open for a pint and a snack alongside the dining rooms.
