The LeatherWorkshop

Saddler's workshop at Treruffydd Farm near Ty Croes, run by Martin Ashworth. He began after military service in a twelve-foot-square workshop at Moelfre, moved to an old bakery at Marian-glas in January 2005, and later to this base on the north-west side of Anglesey. The work is western saddle making and hand-tooled leather, with restoration and commissions: past jobs have included repairing a wartime artificial leg and making replica flintlock pistol holsters. Callers are welcome by appointment.
