Seacoast Safaris runs wildlife boat trips from the pier at Beaumaris, working the sheltered water where the Menai Strait opens into Conwy Bay. The family-run operator offers short cruises to Puffin Island (Ynys Seiriol), where passengers see razorbills, guillemots, cormorants and grey seals hauled out on the rocks, as well as longer runs west along the Strait beneath Thomas Telford's 1826 suspension bridge. A half-day wildlife safari and private charters for groups are also on the books. Trips leave from near Beaumaris Pier on the seafront, weather and tide permitting, and are booked by season. The business trades as Seacoast Safaris Limited and is one of a handful of small independent boat operators sharing the Beaumaris waterfront. Puffin Island is a designated seabird site and one of the reasons the wider strait carries environmental protection.
