The Puffer Bar& Restaurant

The Puffer is a family-owned pub and restaurant on Easdale Island, reached by a short passenger ferry from Ellenabeich since the island itself has no roads or cars. It serves bar meals, seafood and cask ale to residents, day-trippers and crews of visiting yachts moored nearby. The building takes its name from the small steam puffers that once carried slate away from the island's quarries.
