The Rostrevor Inn occupies an 18th-century building on Bridge Street that may once have served as the village police station and gaol. Michael Crawford opened a grocery and bar there in 1853, and his son Patrick later held a Guinness bottling licence, sending horses out to deliver labelled bottles around the district. The bar, still called Crawford's, sits alongside the Stables snugs and an open fire, with live music running Wednesday to Sunday and a monthly folk club. Owner Seth Linder oversaw the building's restoration and runs it as a free house with seven en-suite rooms above the bar. The Times named it one of the UK's best pub stays in November 2024.
