The Spey Larder is a delicatessen on Aberlour's High Street, a short walk from the River Spey, selling Scottish and continental cheeses, charcuterie, whisky, gin and local preserves alongside sandwiches made to order. David and Sheana Catto ran the shop for twenty years after buying it in 2002, building relationships with Speyside producers before selling to John and Kate Smith in May 2022. The Smiths, who farm locally, have kept the deli counter and continued stocking small producers from the Spey valley, adding more of their own farm produce to the shelves over time. The shop remains single-site, trading from the same High Street premises, open six days a week and closed on Sundays. It is independently owned, with no supermarket or wholesaler ties, and continues to put together hampers and picnic orders for visitors touring nearby distilleries.
