This Art of Mine occupies a converted barn at Little Budds Farm in Thurnham, on the peony farm run by Kate, who grows seasonal peonies, roses and herbs for florists, weddings and London flower markets. She runs the pottery studio with her mother, Gemma, in the light, airy space upstairs in the barn. Classes include pottery painting for visitors who choose a pre-made ceramic piece and decorate it, with firing included in the price, alongside clay classes that teach hand-building and wheel-throwing to beginners. The studio also runs monthly sessions in which parents take an impression of a baby's hand or footprint in clay. Evening classes run on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm, with further sessions some weekends, and the studio also offers T-shirt painting and design.
