Traffords Coffee House opened on Turriff's High Street in June 2013, after owner Marjory Chalmers spent four to five months converting a building that had previously been a fish shop and then a bookmaker's. She runs the business with her husband, Colin, and named it after Old Trafford in tribute to their support for Manchester United. The café serves barista coffee, specialty teas, home-baked scones and a daily soup alongside light lunches, and is run as a dementia-friendly space for the local community. Traffords trades from this single High Street premises only. More than a decade after opening, it remains a fixture of the town's daily routine for regulars and passing visitors alike.
