Two Sheds is a micropub on the main shopping stretch of Crookes, opened in 2018 by a former IT worker who took up publican life after redundancy. The single room follows classic micropub principles: no fruit machines, no television, conversation prioritised over entertainment. Three cask ales rotate alongside six keg lines, drawn mostly from small breweries across Yorkshire and Derbyshire, plus a couple of bag-in-box ciders. A cooled cabinet along one wall doubles as an off-sales bottle shop, so beer can be bought to take home as well as drunk in. The pub is dog-friendly and runs a general knowledge quiz on Tuesday evenings. There is no kitchen, though customers are welcome to bring in their own food. Ken, the owner, still runs it day to day.
